Join us as we share the latest updates from our monthly releases. The update includes new and improved integrations in jurisdictions, such as Colombia and Portugal, and on top of that, improvements to our core products: KYC API and Developer Portal. 

Important announcements

Client communication

Single Sign-On implementation

We are enhancing the security of our kompany.com application suite by implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) with Multi-Factor Authentication. This upgrade aligns with industry security standards and will provide better protection for your account. Starting August 13, 2025, username and password login for kompany.com will be replaced with Moody’s SSO platform. This change will have minimal impact on your daily operations while significantly improving security. The SSO setup must be completed by August 13, 2025.

Discontinuing UBO discovery on KWF

UBO discovery is no longer available on kompany.com, as we focus on maintaining and developing access through our API. 

Index dataset access disabled for selected jurisdictions

As a result of a legal review conducted with Moody’s legal team, index datasets have been disabled infor the jurisdictions listed below:

New and enhanced integrations

Country Coverage

New integrations

  • Portugal PT
    We are pleased to share that the Instituto dos Registos e do Notariado, managed by the Portuguese Government, has now been successfully integrated into our expanding suite of jurisdictional coverage. This significant addition enhances our ability to provide comprehensive data and seamless service to our clients by broadening the scope of accessible information within our product portfolio. The integration of Portugal is available on both our products: KYC API and KYC workspace. Please find more information here.

  • Colombia CO
    We would like to inform you that Colombia’s Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá, overseen by the Colombian Government, has now been integrated into our growing portfolio of jurisdictional coverage. This addition improves our ability to deliver more complete data and service to our clients by expanding the available information in our product suite. The integration for Colombia is now accessible through both our KYC API and KYC workspace. For more details, please find more information here.

Enhanced and fixed integrations

  • Singapore SG
    We are pleased to announce a substantial enhancement in our API connections, specifically targeting Singapore’s Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) to facilitate real-time access to XBRL financial statements. This upgraded integration expands data coverage through Financials (Basic), Corporate Basic Financials, Financials (Comprehensive), and Corporate Comprehensive Financials. Available exclusively through our Entity Verification API, this improvement ensures greater reliability and comprehensiveness in providing essential jurisdictional information.   • Finland FI
    There has been a significant enhancement in our API connections, improving our connection to the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (Patentti- ja rekisterihallitus). In addition to the existing name search, we are excited to introduce the ability to search by number. This feature will be available for all legal types registered in the Finnish business register, except for sole traders and NGOs. Please find more information here.
  • Croatia HR
    Our connection to the Croatian Court Registry – Ministry of Justice (Sudski registar) has been successfully reestablished and adjusted following their recent update.
  • United States US – Louisiana LA
    We are happy to announce our new connection with the Louisiana Secretary of State, which replaces our previous connection. This integration offers improved and more reliable data provision, encompassing a comprehensive dataset, henceforth. Users can now benefit from faster response times and greater access to essential business information.
  • United States US – New Mexico NM, North Carolina NC, Oklahoma OK
    In addition to our new connection with Louisiana, the following registers have also been reconnected: New Mexico Secretary of State, North Carolina Secretary of State, and Oklahoma Secretary of State.
  • Argentina AR
    The connection to the Argentinian register Registro Nacional de Sociedades has been reestablished and search by number as well as by name are fully functioning.
  • Botswana BW
    Following the update of the Companies and Intellectual Property Authority (CIPA) source in Botswana, we have successfully restored full functionality to the connection.
  • Mauritius MU
    Following the update of their API, we have successfully reestablished our connection to the Ministry of Finance in Mauritius.

Improved jurisdictions
  • Austria AT
    Our connections with the Austrian Firmenbuch has been revised and quality checked. Enhancements include the addition of firstName, lastName, and salutation fields, improved address mapping, the inclusion of a registerCourt field, and the addition of signatoryRights when applicable, among others.   • Australia AU
    Coming out if the data quality revision a bunch of fixes and enhancements have been implemented to our connection to Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and Australian Business Register (ABR). These include the addition of new fields such as tradingNames, registrationDate and placeOfBirth, among others. Please find more details here.
  • South Korea KR
    We have enhanced our connection to the National Tax Service of Korea (국세청), Financial Services Commission (South Korea) (금융위원회), and The Korea Fair Trade Commission (공정거래위원회) i.e., by adding additional fields like subsidiaries. More details can be found here.
  • United States US – South Carolina SC
    We have made an update to our connection system, ensuring that it now accurately presents the correct registration number in both search results and dataset responses.
  • Denmark DK & Hungary HU
    In addition to Austria, we have granted signatory rights at various levels within the super dataset to Denmark and Hungary, where applicable.

Product improvements

API

  • Index and Live Search
    We have enhanced our search functionality with improved input validations, such as setting minimum search term lengths and verifying numeric characters for number-based searches, now available on the [POST] indexSearch and [POST] liveSearch endpoints in KYC API v2.

  • Enhanced error messages
    Error message texts throughout KYC API v2 have been standardized for clearer and more consistent communication.

  • New status for Enhanced
    A new “partially completed” status for Enhanced orders ensures that all successfully delivered components are provided, with detailed information on any components that could not be delivered, so charges apply only to data received.

  • BCS Coverage and Pricing
    The BCS coverage has been updated to reflect newly available documents and updated pricing.

KWF

  • New UI for Developer Portal
    We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the project aimed at the comprehensive redesign of the Developer Portal for the KYC API. The portal is now fully integrated with Moody’s branding and includes advanced UI/UX components to ensure an optimal user experience. For further details, please visit kompany.com.

Coming next

New and enhanced country integrations

  • China CN
    The release of the upcoming changes to our connection to The National Enterprise Credit Information (NECI) in China are scheduled for the 9th of July. Please find more information here.

  • Thailand TH
    A new connection to the Department of Business Development,  Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce will be developed.

  • Malaysia MY
    Starting next we are working on enhancing the connection to the Malaysian register Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM).

  • Taiwan TW
    Furthermore we are planning to improve and enhance our connection to the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Republic of China in the upcoming weeks.
